The defending national champions will test themselves against the best.
The Michigan State hockey team's 2007-08 schedule, announced Thursday, features 11 games against NCAA Tournament teams from last season.
The slate includes games against WCHA powerhouses North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The regular season will begin Saturday, Oct. 13 in Grand Forks, N.D., in the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game against North Dakota.
Last year's national title team will be honored during the home-opening series Oct. 19-20 against Colgate at Munn Arena.
MSU will be at home for the College Hockey Showcase, Nov. 23 against Minnesota and the next night against Wisconsin.
The Spartans will meet Michigan Tech in the first round of the Great Lakes Invitational Dec. 28 at Joe Louis Arena. The winner will meet the Michigan-Providence winner the next night.
